This aqueduct-bridge is located in the hamlet of Porossan. It is a magnificent medieval construction in partially plastered stone and lime, stretching for approximately 70 m (230 ft), which allows the “ru Prévôt” canal to cross over the valley below. The stone roof and the windows, which light the inside making it visible, give the bridge its majestic appearance.
Abbé Henry, a historic author and mountaineer, called this aqueduct “one of the most beautiful monuments given to us from the Middle Ages.”
